I was recently asked to make a quilt block for a baby quilt. Now that is always a challenge for me as I don't do pastels and I don't do pink and blue for babes. So I fretted, pondered and struggled and finally realized that my friend would think I was sick or dying if I went the pink & blue pastel route. And I have no doubt she will know that it is from me because of my hand marbled fabric. And the people that gave out the directions just said it needed to be a nine by nine inch block with a 5/8" seam allowance. So there you have it.
