Yikkes!!! I have been running around like a crazy person. I spent last weekend at the Quilters Anonymous Annual Show. And they loved my fabric and other stuff I had for sale. I have been marbling and ordering like mad, because I have more shows coming up. But I did Get this butterfly this far before I departed. I'm not sure if it is DONE. I keep having the urge to add beads, but just haven't had time to think about it. I do really like the way the body came out. I uses some black marbled fabric and then machine stitched with a variegated thread brown/black/light brown/dark blue. I really like the effect. The Butterfly may be one of those works in progress pieces.

March Madness
Here in the Pacific Northwest we a bracing ourselves for a Big Blow. We will get lots of rain and in many areas flooding. I'm in great shape, up high and no chance of mudslides. If the power goes out, we crank up the generator. The neighbors know when they here it that they can come and get water.

But this morning I was working on a project that just went bad. The more I tried to fix it, the bigger mess it became. I finally said forget this and took my dog Miss Molly out for a walk in the woods. It really reminded me that it is the little things in life that make me happy. Molly is always so excited and happy to go for a walk. And it is just a simple little thing.
